Sponsorship is the easiest way to help keep a child from a life on the streets. With simple intervention, and as little as 1 dollar a day, you can help to see a child live a more normal life and grow up with dignity.
As a Family or Child Sponsor, you will receive information, photos and updates on the family or child you are sponsoring. You will also be able to correspond with your sponsored family or child and begin a life long relationship. Sometimes it's the little things in life that make the most difference. We thank you in advance for your heart towards these children and look forward to hearing from you!
Your support will pay for food, school uniforms, supplies, special attention and special learning programs. It also enables many children to attend school for the first time!

We have done a home makeover in the town of Budila for a hard working family who just hasn’t been able to get ahead. We brought running water to the house, installed a new kitchen, hot water boiler, stove and fridge, washing machine, and of course a drainage system for it all to work. The kids can’t stop washing their hands in the new kitchen sink! ... What a joy to bring these basic things to people ... This family can really use your help to make sure their children get a good education in nearby Brasov. They need funds for books, clothing, and transportation.

We have 9 families at our new project FARM 10 who desperately need your help. These families are those who farmed the land near the city during the communist era. Since the revolution, the land has been sold around them and they are left without any recourse, no social programs, illiterate, and in poverty. Your support would go towards food, clothing, education, and repairs.

The Andris Family, (Gheorghe, Maria, Ionut, Florin, Mariana, Bogdan) live in the village of Budila. A serious (life threatening) sinus condition has kept Gheroghe from working. The cost of the operation which includes removing part of the bone, is prohibitive for this family. Fortunately, a team from Canada in Romania to do a home makeover, has agreed to cover the expenses, though there will be a significant recovery time. The children are all in school but the cost of supplies and bus passes makes it difficult for them to attend. Education is vital to ending the cycle of poverty and your support would go towards food and supplies for this family and keeping the children in school.

Marius Simionesei and his wife have two small children. Marius lost he sight in one eye as a child and has little education resulting in poor employment opportunities. After a two year waiting list, we have been able to get surgery for Marius and he is now on the road to recovery. The eye was damaged as a small child so he must now train his eye to grasp what he sees. The family participates in a food program run by HFTN Romania which teaches them how to cook with better nutrition in mind. Your support will help them to continue this program while they wait for the operation which will hopefully lead to employment for Marius and a better future for the children.
